CryoConcepts, a global leader in portable cryosurgical devices, got its start in 2012 at Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania and expanded into a manufacturing facility in south Bethlehem.
The company offers a full line of products aimed at delivering cryogenic gases for a wide range of professionals in the most efficient way possible. Its customers are in the medical, veterinarian, and esthetics fields.

CryoConcepts in 2019 bought the Histofreezer brand from OraSure Technologies. CryoConcepts founder Sam Niedbala was among the founders of OraSure’s predecessor company. Two other CryoConcepts executives also helped launch the product line in 1991 during their tenure at OraSure.
